Mathare United coach Francis Kimanzi has been given a one month touchline ban and ordered to pay Sh50,00 fine by the League’s Independent Disciplinary and Complaints Committee (IDCC).
The committee found Kimanzi guilty of refusing to leave the technical area as ordered by the referee and holding up play for17 minutes during Mathare United’s league game against Sofapaka at Nyayo Stadium on November 5.
KPL had charged Kimanzi with misconduct as covered in Rules 7.1(i) and (ix) of the Rules of Kenyan Football.
The Independent Disciplinary and Complaints Committee is the tribunal for resolving disputes in the game of Football managed under the auspices of the Kenyan Premier League Limited.
