Tusker mercilessly put four past Muhoroni Youth without reply as Nzoia Sugar and Sony Sugar cancel each other out in a four-goal duel and new league top scorer Kepha Aswani leads Nakumat past Kakamega Homeboyz in Sunday’s matches.

Kakamega Homeboyz 1-2 Nakumatt

Kakamega Homeboyz took the lead in the 37th minute through Wycliffe Opondo who was put through by Ali Ahmed on the right.

Nakumatt however leveled matters 22 minute later through Kepha Aswani who capitalised on a defensive lapse to beat goalkeeper David Juma.

The retail traders left it late before club top scorer Aswani notched the winning goal for his 12th strike of the season that took him to the top of the top scorers’ list.

Nzoia Sugar 2-2 Sony Sugar

Vincent Ngesa opened the scoring for Nzoia with a towering header in the 10th minute.

Sony Sugar midfielder George Abege restored parity just 11 minutes later.

An easy tap-in from Benjamin Mosha nine minutes after the restart then put Sony ahead for the first time in the match, but Brian Yakhama came through for Nzoia 18 minutes before the end to lock the match even for good.

Tusker 4-0 Muhoroni Youth

Tusker snapped a two-match winless streak in emphatic fashion at Ruaraka.

Mike Khamati raced after dreadlocked midfielder Jackson Macharia’s cross before unleashing an unstoppable shot past Muhoroni goalkeeper Salim Sowedi.

Jacob Faina gifted Tusker an easy attempt at goal with a penalty in the 39th minute when his outstretched hand blocked a goal bound shot from Macharia, and lanky midfielder Humphrey Mieno stepped forward to dispatch the dead ball into the net.

Khamati scored his second five minutes after the restart via a close range headed effort past a poorly positioned Sowedi.

Veteran striker Allan Wanga put the icing on the cake in the 67th minute with yet another header this time from a corner delivered by Boniface Muchiri to end a long stretch without scoring.

Western Stima 1-1 Thika United

Eugene Mukangula picked a through ball from striker Shami Kibwana and beat the on-rushing Western Stima goalkeeper Stephen Otieno for the opener.

The power men however earned a penalty in the 78th minute when second half replacement Dennis Odhiambo hacked Fredrick Nyarombo inside the box, and Robert Achema made no mistake in guiding ball home the spot kick for the equalizer.
