Four matches were played on Sunday 4th March across different venues in the country.

Wazito 1-4 Kariobangi Sharks

Kariobangi Sharks proved too good for hosts Wazito as they thrashed them 4-1 in an entertaining match played at the Camp Toyoyo in Jericho, Nairobi.

Duke Abuya opened the scoring in the 21st minute, assist coming in from Erick Kapaito. Kapaito doubled the lead just four minutes later with an easy tap in. Wazito pulled one back just before the break, Brian Odhiambo heading in powerfully from a corner.

The Kapaito show continued as he beat Wazito custodian Eric Ogwade with a powerful shot from outside the box to make it 3-1 at the hours’ mark. Henry Juma, who had come in for James Mazembe, provided the assist for Kapaito to grab his hattrick in the 84th minute, game ending 4-1 in favour of Sharks.

Ulinzi Stars 1-0 Tusker FC

Masita Masuta’s goal in the 69th minute was all Ulinzi Stars needed to edge out Tusker FC in a match played at the Afraha Stadium in Nakuru.

 Sony Sugar 0-2 AFC Leopards

AFC Leopards registered a crucial 2-0 win over Sony Sugar FC in a match played at the Green Stadium in Awendo.

Ezekiel Odera opened in the scoring in the 16th minute and Joseph Omweri scored an own goal just before the final whistle to double the lead for the visitors.

Thika United 1-1 Mathare United

Thika United and Mathare United shared spoils in a one-all draw at the Thika Sub County Stadium. After a goalless first half, Shami Kibwana opened the scoring for the home side but Cliff Nyakeya levelled matters in the 74th minute to ensure the visitors grab a point.
