Bandari FC and Nakumatt FC picked wins over Kariobangi Sharks and Thika United in the only SportPesa Premier League matches played on Saturday 29th July.

Bandari FC 3-0 Kariobangi Sharks

William Wadri grabbed a brace in the 14th and 72nd minute while John Oyoo scored a delightful freekick in stoppage time to secure three points for Bandari in an entertaining match played at the Mbaraki Stadium in Mombasa.

Bandari Head Coach Bernard Mwalala heaped praises on the Ugandan striker saying he has what it takes to get to the top level.

Thika United 1-2 Nakumatt FC

Nakumatt FC’s renaissance continued with a well-deserved win over Thika United at the Thika Sub County Stadium.

Cornelius Juma opened the scoring for Nakumatt in the ninth minute before Ugandan defender Franco Balabala leveled the scores in the 18th minute. Experienced leftback John Njoroge grabbed the winner in the 38th minute to ensure Nakumatt pick the maximum points.

Following the result, Thika is second from bottom in the log with just 20 points from 23 matches while Nakumatt is 12th with 28 points having played 24 matches.
