Sony Sugar FC’s second leg rise continued with a well-deserved 2-0 win Kariobangi Sharks at Camp Toyoyo on Sunday 19th August. Posta Rangers beat Ulinzi Stars 1-0 on the same day at Bukhungu.

Kariobangi Sharks 0-2 Sony Sugar

Enock Agwanda grabbed a brace to condemn Sharks to their fifth loss on the trot in an entertaining early kick off match at Camp Toyoyo.

He opened the scoring in 32nd minute from the spot after John Kuol fouled Michael Apudo in the box. Agwanda finished the job in the 59th minute with a hard shot that beat Sharks custodian Gad Mathews.

The former Gor Mahia striker has now scored 7 goals so far this season.

Posta Rangers 1-0 Ulinzi Stars

At the Bukungu Stadium in Kakamega, Cavin Odongo continued with his imperious form, scoring the solitary goal for Posta Rangers as they beat Ulinzi Stars. The team is now 10th on the log with 34 points from 26 matches while Ulinzi is sixth with 38 points having played 27 matches.

Tusker FC 1-0 Zoo FC

At the Ruaraka Stadium, Boniface Muchiri marked his return to Tusker from suspension with a brilliant goal as the team beat Zoo FC 1-0.

Tusker is now fifth on the log with 39 points from 27 matches while Zoo is 13th with 32 points having played the same number of matches.

Vihiga United 1-1 Kakamega Homeboyz

At the Mumias Sports Complex, Vihiga United and Kakamega Homeboyz settled for a 1-1 draw. After a goalless first half, Wycliffe Opondo opened the scoring in the 65th minute but Amos Kigadi leveled the scores just 10 minutes later.
