Tusker FC, Ulinzi Stars and Sofapaka registered wins over Thika United, Gor Mahia and Kakamega Homeboyz in Kenyan Premier League (KPL) matches played on Wednesday 19th September. 

Thika United 0-2 Tusker FC 

Timothy Otieno grabbed a brace at the Thika Sub County Stadium, scoring in the 9th and 23rd minute to compound Thika United deeper in the relegation zone.

Thika remains at the bottom of the log with 23 points from 30 matches while Tusker Fc is seventh with 46 points having played the same number of matches.

Gor Mahia 0-2 Ulinzi Stars 

Elvis Nandwa also scored a brace to guide Ulinzi Stars to their first league win over Gor Mahia in five years. The win pushes Ulinzi Stars to fourth on the log with 50 points from 31 matches while Gor Mahia, who have already defended their league title, have 71 points.

Sofapaka 4-1 Kakamega Homeboyz

Sofapaka registered the biggest win of the day by thrashing Kakamega Homeboyz 4-1 at the Narok Stadium. Umar Kasumba grabbed a hattrick with Ezekiel Okare grabbing one for Homeboyz while Mata Makasidi scored Homeboyz’s lone goal.

Sofapaka are fifth on the log with 50 points from 31 matches while Homeboyz are ninth with 40 matches having played the same number of matches.
