AFC Leopards was the only team that picked maximum points in the four SportPesa Premier League matches played across different venues on Thursday 4th April. 

Kariobangi Sharks 1-1 Zoo FC 

In an early kick off match played at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos, Zoo FC salvaged a point against hard fighting Kariobangi Sharks. 2018 MVP Erick Kapaito had given Sharks the lead in the 20th minute but Kelvin Omondi levelled scores ten minutes later to ensure the teams share spoils.

Sofapaka 1-1 Vihiga United

Sofapaka and Vihiga United also played to a 1-1 draw at the same venue in a match that kicked off at 2 PM. After a goalless first half, Stephen Waruru capitalised on a defensive lapse to slot in the opener in the 51st minute but Christopher Masinza equalized in the 71st minute.

AFC Leopards 2-0 Chemelil Sugar 

AFC Leopards picked maximum points against Chemelil Sugar at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos. Whyvonne Isuza netted the fastest goal of the season, giving Ingwe the lead in the 36th second of the match. Aziz Okaka finished the job with a calm finish just four minutes after the breather.

Nzoia Sugar FC 0-0 Posta Rangers

Nzoia Sugar FC and Posta Rangers settled for a barren draw in a match played at the Sudi Stadium in Bungoma.
