Zoo FC survived relegation by a whisker on the final day of the 2018/19 SportPesa Premier League as they played to a 2-2 draw with KCB FC while Posta Rangers succumbed to a 2-0 loss to Tusker FC and will now feature in the promotion/relegation playoff to determine their fate. 

Tusker FC 2-1 Posta Rangers

First-half goals from Michael Madoya and Boniface Muchiri put Tusker ahead at the Ruaraka Stadium but a late Joakins Atudo penalty gave the Mail Men hopes of at least rescuing a point but the Brewers held on for the three crucial points.

Posta now finishes the league third bottom with 32 points having played 34 matches while Tusker is fourth with 56 points having played the same number of matches.

KCB FC 2-2 Zoo FC 

At the Mumias Sports Complex, Zoo FC could have picked the three points but KCB fought hard to force a 2-2 draw. A point was however enough to ensure the Kericho-based side survive the chop as they finished fifteenth with 33 points from 34 matches.

The Bankers got their goals through Rwandese forward Gabriel Mugambo and Chrispinus Onyango while Zoo scored through Derick Anami and Danson Chetambe.

Western Stima 0-0 AFC Leopards

Western Stima and AFC Leopards played to a barren draw at the Moi Stadium in Kisumu.

Chemelil Sugar FC 1-0 Sony Sugar FC 

A Philip Muchuma goal was enough to hand Chemelil Sugar FC a 1-0 win over Sony Sugar in a match played at the Chemelil Sports Complex.

Sofapaka 2-0 Kakamega Homeboyz 

A Stephen Waruru brace helped Sofapaka edge Kakamega Homeboyz 2-0 in a match played at the Mbaraki Stadium in Mombasa.

Nzoia Sugar FC 2-2 Bandari 

Nzoia Sugar FC came from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Bandari at the Sudi Stadium in Bungoma. Wilberforce Lugogo opened the scoring for the Dockers at the half h0urs mark with a delightful freekick and Darius Msagha doubled the lead four minutes after the break. James Kibande reduced the deficit for Nzoia in the 69th minute and Patrick Otieno scored from the spot in stoppage time to ensure a share of spoils.

Gor Mahia 2-2 Mathare United 

Gor and Mathare also played to a 2-2 draw at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos. Jacques Tuyisenge and Boniface Omondi had given Gor Mahia the lead up until the 63rd minute when Lawrence Juma scored an own goal and Cliff Nyakeya equalized at the 90th minute from the spot.

Kariobangi Sharks 4-0 Vihiga United

Erick Kapaito scored a brace while youngster Patrick Ngunyi got one and an own goal from Smith Ouko ensured Sharks registered the biggest win of the day by thrashing visiting Vihiga United 4-0 at the Moi International Sports Center in Kasarani.
