Posta Rangers 1-1 Chemelil Sugar (Afraha Stadium)

John Mwita’s first half goal gave Posta Rangers a well-deserved lead, but Chemelil fought back superbly to even matters with a Kennedy Otieno goal in stoppage time.

Travelers Bandari, under former Tusker coach Paul Nkata ended the brewer’s impressive 12-match unbeaten run.

And the man responsible for the all-important item was Lewis Cosmas. He found the net in the 27th minute after getting on the end of a Duncan Otewa cross.

Cosmas and his club Michael Luvutsi however got on the referee’s book and were both ejected from the match in the closing stages of the match, the former for his second bookable offense and the latter for an altercation with the man in the middle.

Gor Mahia 2-2 Ulinzi Stars (Moi Stadium)

Karim Nizigiyimana opened the scoring for the hosts in the 33rd minute with a calm finish off a cross from Kenneth Muguna on the left wing.

Gor doubled their lead from an own goal by Ulinzi defender Mohammed “Rio” Hassan in the 58th minute.

But you cannot count out league top scorer Stephen Waruru in his current form. He indeed erupted twice in 20 minutes with a brace to level matters and increase his league tally to 10 strikes thus far.

At Kericho home side Zoo held 2008 champions Mathare United to a 0-0 draw.
