Relegation bound Muhoroni Youth endured another heavy thumping, falling to Sony sugar 5-1 at Awendo Green Stadium on Tuesday.

The results brought up the number of goals soaked by the imploding Muhoroni to 22 in their last five matches.

The writing was on the wall for the basement club when George Abege quickly claimed a brace inside the first quarter. Further strikes from ex-Muhoroni man Benjamin Mosha, David Simiyu and Victor Ademba put poor Muhoroni to the sword as their exit status was brutally underlined with one round of matches remaining to the end of the season.

Muhoroni’s consolation goal was scored by one of their brighter prospects in an otherwise dark season Hassan Kiyoyo via a second half penalty.

The win marked a rebound for Salim Babu’s Sony who were upset 1-0 by minnows Nakumatt over the weekend.
