Kakamega Homeboyz edged out visiting Kariobangi Sharks by a solitary goal in a rescheduled match played at the Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega on Thursday 28th June.
The game had been rained off on Wednesday afternoon with the teams tied in a 1-1 draw but started afresh on Thursday. A first half strike by former Chemelil Sugar defender Smith Ouko won the game for the hosts who now move to eighth on the log with 28 points from 20 matches while Sharks is sixth with 30 points having played the same number of matches.
