Kenyan Premier League, through the Stadium Safety and Security Committee (SSSC), have organized a security workshop for SGs/CEOs and Team Managers of clubs competing in the 2018-19 SportPesa Premier League season.

The workshop will take place at the KPL Headquarters on Friday, November 30, 2019, from 9:00 am. The aim of the workshop is to help clubs improve on security arrangement when hosting matches.

Speakers and topics to be addressed at the workshop will be:

  1. Lt. Col. Erick Williams Oloo (SSSC Chairman) – to address the importance of security at KPL matches
  2. GMT Ottieno (KPL Head of Technical Services Safety and Security) – to address match hosting logistics
  3.  Lt. Col. [Rtd] Mathews Waria (Head of Security, SportPesa) – to address role of stewards in enhancing security
  4.  Michael Kirwa (KPL League & Competitions Administrator) – to address role and importance of Team Managers in early submission of team sheets

After the workshop, there will be a Q&A session and members of the SSSC will be present to answer and provide guidance on matters safety and security at our matches and match venues.
