Posta Rangers thrashed Mt Kenya United 6-2 in what was the biggest win in the seven SportPesa Premier League matches played on Sunday 14th April.

Posta Rangers compounded Mt Kenya’s woes with a well-deserved 6-2 win at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.

Gerson Likonoh and Francis Nambute scored a double each with the other two Rangers goals coming from Brian Osumba and Cavin Odongo. Brian Nyakan and Amani Kyata scored for Mt Kenya.

Kariobangi Sharks 0-2 Tusker FC

After a goalless first half, Timothy Otieno and Boniface Muchiri scored in the 64th and 73rd minute to ensure Tusker pick the maximum points against Sharks at Kasarani.

Ulinzi Stars 2-0 Mathare United

Ulinzi Stars also beat Mathare United with a similar scoreline at the Afraha Stadium in Nakuru. Elvis Nandwa opened the scoring for the soldiers in the 58th minute, heading in Daniel Waweru’s cross and Oscar Wamalwa doubled the lead in the 75th minute, tapping in Omar Mbogi’s low cross.

At the Chemelil Complex, Chemelil Sugar FC added to Zoo woes by beating them 2-0 courtesy of goals by Philip Muchuma and Gilbert Wangulu.

Vihiga United 0-1 Kakamega Homeboyz

Allan Wanga’s goal was the difference between Vihiga United and Kakamega Homeboyz at the Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega, his 13th of the season.

Western Stima 1-2 Bandari

Bandari edged Western Stima 2-1 at the Green Stadium in Kericho. Yema Mwana and Brian Otieno scored for the Dockers while Stima’s consolation was grabbed by Dacha Malik.

KCB FC 0-1 Sofapaka

Umaru Kasumba scored a stoppage-time penalty as Sofapaka beat KCB FC by a solitary goal in an entertaining match played at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.

Sony Sugar FC vs AFC Leopards (rained off)

Sony Sugar vs AFC Leopards was rained off at the 64th minute with AFC Leopards leading 1-0 courtesy of a Whyvonne Isuza strike. The game will be replayed fully tomorrow (Monday 15th April) from 10 AM at the Green Stadium in Awendo.
