Posta Rangers and Sofapaka were the only winners in the four SportPesa Premier League match played on Sunday 21st April, beating Zoo FC and Sony Sugar FC respectively. 

Posta Rangers 2-0 Zoo FC 

Stanslaus Akiya gifted Posta an own goal as the home side went to the break on the front foot at Machakos. Marcelus Ingotsi finished the job with a cool finish to ensure the Mail Men pick the maximum points.

Sony Sugar FC 0-1 Sofapaka

At the Green Stadium in Awendo Umaru Kasumba’s penalty was enough to hand Batoto Ba Mungu the three crucial points.

Vihiga United 2-2 Mathare United

Vihiga United and Mathare United played to a 2-2 draw in an entertaining match played at the Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega.

Youngster Lawrence Luvanda, on loan from AFC Leopards, put Vihiga ahead in the 7th minute with a wonderful freekick from the edge of the box after Amos Kigadi was fouled.

Dennis Wafula doubled the lead in the 67th minute, round off Allan Owiny to score the second after he was put through bu Amos Kigadi.

The Slum Boys put a spirited fight and were awarded in the 80th minute when Cliff Nyakeya reduced the deficit and in stoppage time when Johnstone Omurwa thumped in the equalizer.

Gor Mahia 1-1 Ulinzi Stars 

After a goalless first half, Dennis Oliech put the home side ahead in the 47th minute but Ulinzi restored parity through Enosh Ochieng from the spot after he was brought down in the box by Geoffrey Ochieng.
