Kariobangi sharks mercilessly maul poor Muhoroni Youth in Nairobi as their top striker Masoud Juma knocks in four goals while Kakamega Homeboyz and Chemelil Sugar battle to a thrilling draw that produces for goals in Mumias on SAturday.

Kariobangi Sharks 7-0 Muhoroni Youth (Kasarani)

Matching Edwin Lavatsa’s exploit of three days ago, Masoud Juma scored four goals to rise to the top of the league scorers’ charts.

The razor sharp Juma opened his scoring in the eighth minute and completed a brace two minutes later, an ominous sign to the out of sorts Muhoroni Youth.

Duke Abuya stepped up in the 23rd minute with a glancing header off Ovella Ochieng’s cross. Ochieng was next on the score sheet five minutes before the break as Sharks went into the break 4-0 up.

The Kariobangi side were unrelenting in the second half as Juma notched his hat trick two minutes after resumption after dispossessing Jacob Faina of the ball just outside the goal mouth to send it home.

Second half substitute Cavin Odongo combined with Mathew Tayo to extend Sharks’ tally in the 81st minute before man-of-the match Juma put the icing on the cake with his fourth goal five minutes later for his season leading 15th strike.

Kakamega Homeboyz 2-2 Chemelil Sugar (Narok)

Wycliffe Ochomo made a rare appearance on the score sheets with a goal in the 40th minute to hand Kakamega Homeboyz a 1-0 half time lead.

Chemelil however hit back on 68 minutes through Edwin Omondi who turned in a cross delivered by Estone Esiye.

Jeremiah Wanjala, who came in for Esiye in the final third of the game, collected a cross from utility player Moses Mudavadi and smashed it home to give Homeboyz the lead once more.

But the hosts’ lead was short lived, as Shafan Siwa restored parity late, late in the match, Chemelil coming back for the second time in dramatic fashion.
