The Ulinzi Stars versus Mathare United Kenyan Premier League (Round 3) match set to be played on Saturday 17th February will be live on three Free to Air channels; KBC Channel One, KTN and NTV.

The Kenyan Premier League (KPL)  aims at ensuring as many Kenyans as possible watch the Kenyan top-tier.

Exclusivity

“We want to ensure many Kenyans watch the league on as many Free to Air channels as possible for a start. Once we popularize it to the Kenyan masses, we will package the product and sell it to the most suitable Free To Air Channel on an exclusive basis,” Elly Kalekwa, KPL Vice Chairman and Chairman of the KPL Marketing and Sponsorship Committee says.

The current arrangement with the FTAs is on a non exclusive basis. Exclusivity will only be granted to the channel that officially buys the rights from KPL.

Kick off

The match will be played at the Afraha Stadium in Nakuru and kicks off at 3PM.
