Five matches were played across different venues on Sunday 27th May with Nakumatt FC’s win over Posta Rangers and Sofapaka’s silencing of Ulinzi being the highlight of the day.

Ulinzi 1-2 Sofapaka

Sofapaka edged out Ulinzi Stars 2-1 in an entertaining match played at the Afraha Stadium in Nakuru. Umaru Kasumba opened the scoring with a delightful volley and Kepha Aswani doubled the lead just a few minutes later. Elvis Nandwa pulled one back for the Soldiers in the second half but Batoto ba Mungu held on to bag the three points.

Posta Rangers 0-2 Nakumatt FC

Nakumatt FC rise continued as they beat Posta Rangers 2-0 at the Camp Toyoyo in Nairobi. Boniface Mukhekhe scored a brace to take his season tally to four goals so far this season.

Vihiga United 0-1 Thika United 

Thika United bagged an important away win, beating Vihiga United by a solitary goal at the Mumias Sports Complex. The all important goal was scored by Shami Kibwana.

Kariobangi Sharks 1-0 Bandari 

Sven Yidah’s header in the second half was all Kariobangi Sharks needed to beat Bandari in an early kick off match played at the Camp Toyoyo.

Wazito 0-3 Nzoia Sugar FC

Nzoia Sugar FC also picked a crucial away win at the Camp Toyoyo, thrashing Wazito FC 3-0, goals courtesy of Elvis Rupia, Morven Otinya and Victor Omondi.
